Tapas is an alumni from the prestigious Sir J J School of Art, Mumbai. A gold medallist in commercial art and an accomplished painter he has exhibited his work in several exhibitions across India, Tapas is also a successful advertising professional. He works as a Creative Director in a leading advertising agency in Mumbai. He has many well-known advertising campaigns to his credit and has won several awards for his work. Tapas balances his life as an advertising professional and as a painter skilfully. He also conducts sessions on fine art across Mumbai to promote art and inspire uninitiated and seasoned talents to keep his love of art alive. Tapas’ art displays a distinct style, evident in his oil on canvas paintings rendered in a semi-finished tapestry form. He is also a devoted family man and a colourful personality just like his paintings.
